What ailens Does
ailens is a transformative AI-powered news aggregator. It does not display or store full article text. Each article is crawled only to extract a concise structured summary (facts, perspectives, and a brief meta-analysis). The raw article body is discarded immediately after AI extraction and is never persisted to our database.
Every topic page links directly back to the original source articles via “Read original” links and a “Source References” section, driving traffic to the publishers whose work we summarise.
How to Submit a Takedown Request
If you are a copyright holder or authorised representative and believe that content on ailens infringes your rights, please contact us:

Please include: the URL(s) in question, the infringing content, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
We commit to honouring domain-exclusion requests within 7 business days. Once a domain is added to our blocklist, no further articles from that publisher will be crawled or processed.
Existing Safeguards
- ✓robots.txt compliance — our crawler checks and respects each publisher's
robots.txtbefore fetching any page. If a publisher disallows our bot, we skip that source entirely. - ✓Paywall policy — ailens only crawls sources that provide free public access. Paywalled sources are excluded by configuration and will never be crawled.
- ✓No raw text storage — full article bodies are discarded immediately after AI extraction. We store only the short structured output (summary, facts, perspectives).
- ✓Domain blocklist — any publisher can request immediate exclusion. Their domain will be added to our blocklist and honoured within 7 business days.
